They can be! While it’s totally normal for them to feel a little odd at first, most people adjust quickly. We’re here to help with the initial settling-in period and can tweak the fit as needed to make sure they feel just right.
Yes — as long as they’re well-made and well-fitted (which ours are, by the way). If you’ve had bad experiences with loose dentures in the past, you’re in for a pleasant surprise.
You might want to start with the softer stuff while you get used to them, but yes — once you’ve adjusted, you’ll be back to enjoying most of your favourite foods (just maybe not chomping on toffee apples on day one).
It’s simple: Rinse them after eating, brush them daily with a soft brush (no toothpaste needed), and soak them in denture cleaner once a day or overnight. And don’t forget your regular check-ups with us to make sure everything’s still fitting like a glove.
